Birds, Birds and more Birds

As part of Al's 30th year of birthday treats, we visited Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust. The WWT really thought it through becuase its £8 to visit and then you have to pay for the privilage of a bag of seed to feed them!

"Birds, Birds and more Birds" reads like a sexual adventure between a badger and a mouse. The plotline seems to echo a modern-day New Testament with a little mezcal and smack thrown in for the sake of suspense. Although the characters are unrealistic and flatulent, the subtext is cleverly brought out in the way the setting plays out the textual issues. More realistically, the mouse should never have given her cherry away in that manner. I await the sequel.
