Slightly late in the year, but I finally booked my Valentines gift from Ali. We joined a City Cruises boat for afternoon tea along the Thames. We luckily had a window seat and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea, while sailing past the Shard, Parliament and onto Canary Wharf. A very pleasant afternoon.
Wow, what a day, taking Brownies to Harry Potter studios during our special Harry Potter pack holiday. This was no small feat. It involved getting a train to Watford, boarding the night bus, trying to keep all Brownies together when all they wanted to do was run around the studio, then do the same in reverse. But it was well worth it to see their faces.
I adore Bletchley Park so this time took Mum and Dad to visit as a thank you for another painting weekend. It's absolutely fascinating, especially after we watched Imitation Game last night.
