Take 2 towels to the spa in future

I really dont like Hungarian keyboards. Apologies in advance but please excuse if i put the z and y around the wrong way but that is how they are on the keyboard. I also have no smily faces cos I cant find them. Smily face. Oh this is going to be fun.

After a little lie in, we got up and I was packed off to the bath with the house keys and a limitless time to stay in the spa. Well, after LM walked bought me the ticket, walked me through the spa to show me everything and then explain to the staff that im not simple, i just cant speak.

I swam, sat in the thermal bath, jacuzzi, all manner of saunas including one strange one with a UV light. I avoided speaking to anyone and got y Hungarian t towel of a towel incredibly wet to the point that there was no point in drying off becuase i was going to get more wet.

There is something seriously wrong about going to a gloriously hot spa to then walk out into the snow (with nice fluffy hair cos i had to dry it). Off to Tesco where i only just had enough money to pay for things (the manager had already approached to remove items) and then home for a nap before Dzsini arrived.

For someone who hates eggs and mushrooms, i polished off Hungarian scrambled eggs very well. So now Im snuggling down to a film before LM gets back. Verz relaxing day.

Dorka "Ms Keela"

I was given 5 mins for a shower and oh i achieved it. We walked to our parents house and i felt like a celebrity. It was so nice to see them again and be stuff with gorgeous soup and pudding. Two helpings of each and then Dad was still trying to give me more food.

We then chatted and chatted, and vica translated and translated. I dont know how she does it. We had a quick walk back cos in true LM style, the train was coming like now......

I walked around the city, walked in virgin snow, took piccies of the city hall, the frozem Tisza, walked along the promenade to the Dom but at this point I couldnt feel my bum so it was time for a hot drink. I must have had talk to me written on my head today cos oh the cleaner wanted to talk to me even though i told her i dont understand, im english, i dont speak hungarian. However, ive perfected the facial expressions to show i understand and she was happy with this.

As LM and I walked to Lacis, down rainbow street, walking like camp men for some reason.....we discussed why some nationalities kiss, some hug. The british hug and the Hungarians kiss but LM finds hugging way to close and i find kissing much much to close....Ummm. who is right.

LM, Laci, Timi, Dori and I went out for Mexican in Hungary. Always a weird concept and over dinner Dori (5) grabbed my attention by calling me mskeela. Mum yesterdaz also called me mskeela.....

At home, Dori and I played even thought neither of us can understand each other but how much language do you need to walk in snow, crawl between my legs and then play wheelbarrow.

Vica "ahhh, you little freak"

After a very disturbed nights sleep i had to figure out how the hell to get off of the bunk bed. I tried going front ways and then had to abort cos it was just too high. All the while the bed was moving and waking up the person below. Next attempt was feet first. This didnt work either cos my hips are wider than the verz small ladder. So the final option was kneeling across the bed and just hoping my feet would reach the ladder eventually. Success..... i was off the bed...

Next success was asking for my train ticket in Hungarian. I was very proud. One snag was that I didnt ask for IC so i was moved by the conductor to another carriage. Fine, it was a bit chilly but it was comfy. But no, i was still in the wrong carriage so i had to move into the arctic carriages without heating. You have to imagine snow outside, me inside with my 4 layers, gloves and hat in the rescure position to retain heat. Here i sat for 2 hours.

Vica met me at the station and we walked home. Halfway through, temptation got the better of me and i just had to go and run in the virgin snow. it was so crisp and untrodden.

After brekkie with Paul and Natalie, they watched a film while i slept (that wasnt the intention). Neither was waking up snuggling into Paul whom i only met a few hours before.

We had a long hike to the resturant where our friends Laci, Timi and Dori treated us to the most amaying meal. Back at Lacis house, Natalie and I dicussed the differences of American and British English and the best line ever " thats not right, its british english".

Our journey home involved me and timi in the front of the car. Paul, Gabor and Vica sat in the back with Natalie laid across all of them. Picture to follow....

Stopped by customs

Hometime....finally, after a couple of years it was time to go home. But what is a trip without a few fun experiences. The first being the fact that I didnát check in my bag cos the lady told me i didnt have to. Unfortunately i forgot baout my shampoo, conditioner, deodroant, handwash, handcream and toothpaste in my bag so guess what was confiscated after i was tickled by the beep beep machine people. I dont know the correct term for it.

I was asked twice whether i was Hungarian and then someone said that they would like this fella through first and it was me... I must have looked very male hungarian on the flight.

So i get to the airport, without money and all of the cash machines arent working. Great. I get on the airport bus to the hostel at 11.30pm and arrive at a hostel that I hoped i had a reservations (they didnt return my email about which hostel it was cos they have 2, or whether i have a bed so i was hoping for the best). So after i check in, Im giving the top bunk in the giant bunk beds. God it was a long way up. It took long enough to get myself up there, i went to sleep wondering how the hell i was gonna get back down again in 6 hours time......
