Iceland: The Blue Lagoon at night

We stood out like a sore thumb at the train station, so much so, an elderly lady stopped, leaned in, to get a better look at us! Then smiled. Charming. We only have matching clothes. We got to Heathrow without a hiccup, only to find every flight cancelled or delayed, apart from ours. We didn't have time to browse the shops, nor sit and stare at the screen. Before we knew it, we were on the plane, going back Concorde and a aeroplane hanger which had the planes bums out.

Short hop over to Iceland, I love the feeling of coming back to Iceland, something so familiar. We picked up our car, got a little lost in Keflavik, then found the Blue Lagoon, where we are staying overnight. Iceland is a sea of white and it was snowing for the whole drive. We didn't stay at the hotel for long, we had to dash to the Blue Lagoon for our complimentary visit. The first time we have visited at night time. It was gorgeous, the water was black, all you could see was steam. There were very few people, it's definitely the time to visit. We floated, had the silica mask, sat in the cave and decided that it's time to win the lottery and move to Iceland.
