World pride in London 2012

I do love pride, but in this phenominal year, it was World pride in London. We arrived early for our coffee shop meeting, then walked to our meeting point where we waited and waited and waited some more before we could start. We were in the green part of the rainbow, and trying to get 15,000 walkers to move took quite a long time. There is nothing like the feeling when we start walking in pride. It's so nice to walk through the streets of central London, down Oxford Street, Picadilly circus, Trafalgar Square while hand in hand. We twirled our umbrellas, blew our whistles and had an amazing time. Only problem is the allergic reaction to an insect bite that cut pride slightly short.
