What better when you have only had a few hours sleep in a couple of days, to get up at 5.30 am to go on a game drive. I was so excited that I actually swung my legs back and forth in excitement. We saw giraffe, white rhino, black rhino, kudu, wildbeast, rock dassie, warthog, impala, Tessebe, Ostrich and Zebra. The view at that time in the morning was amazing. We spent the morning by the pool and actually venturing into the freezing cold pool. After a siesta, we had a sunset drive and saw elephant this time. In the evening we had a braai (BBQ) and tried millie meal for the first time (maize) and then a sea of green rugby shirts was transfixed to the tv as ireland were playing rugby. One problem in going home was that we didn't switch the light on and Jo is scared of snakes so what does she do? She stands by the car while I go and hunt snakes by walking on them. Yay.
