What a gem, Cambridge botanical gardens. An easy trip from the Trumpington Park and Ride, right to the front gate. £4.50 to enter and even though spring hasn't sprung just yet, the wander was lovely, especially the limestone rock garden, the lakes and a stop at the café. Trouble was that it's half term so it was absolutely packed, but a very pleasant few hours.
What does every girl wants for valentines? Eddie Stobart club membership of course. And I had trainers and a gorgeous meal cooked for me of baked camembert, fajitas and white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. Yum.
Cambridge is so much better out of season, although I'm not sure Cambridge ever has a quiet season. Afternoon tea in a lovely tea shop, a wander around looking at the market, Kings College, down to the Backs and a walk through Clare college. Glorious afternoon.
