Elegant even in the mud
Only Brigitte can still look elegant while on a bird watching walk. We stalked a marsh harrier for a long time and it was a bit like deja vu seeing as we have been to Minsmere twice in the last couple of months but another great trip to Sussez

Tube without Ali
A very early start when only crazy joggers and dog walkers were awake. The day didn't start well when i found that all of my podcasts had disappeared so i had 3 hours without entertainment. When we arrived in london, the heart of the tube system was closed for maintainence - the circle and district lines! Off we went to the London aquarium which was heaving with children pushing us out of the way. No manners
these days... The sharks and rays were amazing but there were 100 times the number of kids than fish so we were running to get to the next exhibit before the crowds.
Back to Westminster tube station and i managed to get on the tube, but as i looked around, ali was still on the platform mouthing to me 'i don't like the double doors, see you at the next station'. :) Gormet lunch in burger kind where i was sat under a pidgeons bum so my galant ali swapped.
Then my dream to see Wicked at the threate came true. On the downside, we had seats made for dwarfs but oh when it started, i couldn't care less. And when defying gravity was sung, I was balling my eyes out. Amazing musical, loved every second.
Interesting thing on the way home, the Swansea train was a dry train, no alcohol allowed. All the way home, we had 6 British Transport Police in our carriage too which was unnerving but what a fantastic Valentines/ anniversary and christmas present :)

Just like hills
Oh my nieces are so cute. They arrived on the Saturday and we went straight to 'Make art; to paint mugs and decloplage which I discovered is a craft that isn't meant for me. Way too much patience is required. It was definitely a brownie orientated weekend with fairy cake decorating, making pizza's, decorating biscuits and the best bit...swimming. Ali was petrified in the morning about taking the girls alone but I'd never taken them swimming alone either :) So, off we went with a screaming Caitlin to the pool across the road. Caitlin cried for the entire time we had to get changed and it was like an automatic stop when she got in the water. Liv was jumping in without arm bans even though she cant swim and just sinks. The fun came when we had to get out. While we were getting changed, Liv whispered to me, Ali has big boobies, they are like hills :) We didn't stop laughing for hours.
