Hilary and me at The Hague

I did wonder why The Hague was deserted and covered with Police and riot vans. Little did I know that Hilary Clinton had just arrived for the Afghanistan conference of all the Heads of Nations! Nobody told me. I had forgotten how flat Holland is.

Surprise trip to Cadbury World

Ali had always wanted to go to Cadbury World so off we went. I mentioned that the last time I visited, a brownie through up on me and I was off work for a week. Trouble is, after the cup of melted chocolate, I was seriously feeling ill. If you want to be put off of chocolate, visit cadbury world and have a cup of melted chocolate. I dare you to finish it.

My new friends the New Zealanders

Thanks to a strike in Paris, I shared a taxi with a lovely couple of New Zealand, who gave me their address and invited me to stay! All within the space of half an hour. I left them at their hotel, went to my very Parisian hotel and the 2 hours later, bumped into them again at Notre Dame. If I didn't believe in fate, I do now!
